Single question in hiring test!

Two decades ago, fresh out of college, I went to a company in New Delhi to attend a walk-in interview for an entry level position. It was one of the very few companies in the region which hired and trained freshers.

Those were the paper days and machine based testing was not prevalent yet. As I was sitting at the reception after handing over my printed resume, I was wondering at the efficiency of the testing process. Candidates were being called in batches of ten and after 30 minutes names of the successful candidates were announced. I was pleasantly surprised by the efficiency as most of the walk-ins I had attended till then used to be very chaotic and time consuming.
