Turn your TradingView charts into a live, queryable surface for Claude. Ask in plain English, get analysis, scoring, Pine Script edits, and morning briefs run directly against your live TradingView session. This guide covers both Claude Desktop and Claude Code on Windows, with sample configs tuned for NSE/BSE workflows.
What this is
The tradingview-mcp-jackson MCP server is a small Node.js bridge that connects Claude (Desktop or Code) to your locally running TradingView Desktop app via the Chrome DevTools Protocol (CDP). Once it is wired up, Claude can read the current symbol, timeframe, indicator values, watchlist, strategy results, and Pine Script source from your live TradingView window. It can also write back to it: switch symbols, change timeframes, edit Pine Script, create alerts, take screenshots.
Everything runs locally on your machine. No TradingView data leaves your laptop. Claude reads the chart at the data layer, not the pixel layer.
This guide walks through Windows 10/11 setup for two different Claude products (Desktop and Code), and includes sample configs tuned for Indian equity workflows.
