In a global first, India’s Largest Fashion Portal Myntra killed its web site and became mobile only. This made sense as 70% revenue came from mobile devices and Myntra users were content consumers.
While a mobile first strategy is required as the designers & developers struggle to deliver content to multitude of screen resolutions, a mobile only strategy needs to be evaluated very carefully.
